1. First stop – Local breakfast
The tour begins in the Renaissance part of the city, featuring the famous Piazza Ariostea, home of the Palio di Ferrara, Parco Massari, and the iconic Palazzo dei Diamanti. Here, you’ll enjoy a break to taste the traditional “Ricciola” (savory pastry), accompanied by a cappuccino or a good coffee, in a historic local café.

2. Walk through medieval Ferrara
The walk continues through the medieval city, with its iconic landmarks such as the Estense Castle and the Cathedral. We will then dive into the heart of the Jewish Ghetto, reaching the charming Via delle Volte, before arriving at the ancient Piazza delle Erbe—today Piazza Trento e Trieste—for the second tasting stop.
