Meet the guide at Hotel Duchessa Isabella and depart for a bicycle tour through the historic center of Ferrara. The route follows Corso Giovecca to Piazza Trento e Trieste, where the Ferrara Cathedral is located, then continues through the ancient Jewish Ghetto of Ferrara and along the charming Via delle Volte.
You will admire the Castello Estense and the Renaissance urban expansion known as the
Addizione Erculea, including the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti. The tour then continues through the greenery of Parco Massari to the historic Walls of Ferrara.
Cycling through scenic landscapes, the route leads to the Certosa Monumentale di Ferrara and Piazza Ariostea, with a stop for a light lunch (one wine glass included), before returning to the hotel.
Notes: The tour is led by a certified environmental guide, who will share insights into the city’s
history and urban landscape. Participants must have good cycling skills. At the start of theactivity, the guide will carry out a brief technical assessment; for safety reasons, the guide reserves the right to exclude anyone deemed unable to participate safely.
